In use for 5,000 years, marijuana has endless health benefits, the ability to help people beat dangerous addictions, and it has never caused a death. Before 1900, there were 30 pharmaceuticals prescribed for about 100 different diseases. Today marijuana is used for these same diseases.

It helps treat lots of known diseases as well as help addicts on heroin, alcohol, tobacco, meth, Adderal and even anti-depressants. And the research is just getting started. So why is it illegal at the federal level?
