Hot Box Vaporizer Review

Is it a durable and affordable starter vaporizer?

The Hot Box is perfectly minimal and comes in many colors. Just plug it in, and turn it on, and vape away.

The Hot Box vaporizer is a minimal ceramic box designed with clean lines and minimal fuss in mind. Just plug it in, and turn it on; there are no adjustments to mess with.

Tip: always turn the Hot Box off after use, you’ll conserve the heating element and preserve the life of the vaporizer.

The Stats

How to Use the Hot Box

Maintenance

Turn off the Hot Box after each use, it will save the heating element. Use a brush to clean the screen inside the glass whip after each use. Their special 2-piece glass wand is wonderfully designed, it’s a breeze to take apart and clean both the screen and glass. No other vaporizer has as nice a whip as the Hot Box. Replace screens as they clog and clean the mouth piece and tube every month or so. It’s a very low-maintenance vape.

The Downsides: slow warm-up time; hot to the touch; fixed temperature

The Hot Box is the slowest vaporizer to warm up, it takes almost 15 minutes to get fully hot, but it’s also one of the most affordable vaporizers available today. If you’re just starting out and cost is a factor, the slow warm-up time may be worth the wait.

What’s in the Box?

Quote from the Web

“It is legitimate. Really there’s no question about that. You do get a very strong effect from using it. In terms of ease of use, the hot box vape is quite simple. The sales dude said people come back with Volcano issues, but never a Hot Box issue in 4 years.”

The Bottom Line

If you can afford $200, skip Hot Box and upgrade to Da Buddha Vaporizer for adjustable temperature controls which let you vape a wide variety of strain types and the outer case stays much cooler than the Hot Box.

Hot Box is a decent vaporizer for the money — other cheap vaporizers will die after 3 months of regular use, but the Hot Box is a durable, well-made piece of gear that will last for years. We give this a luke-warm recommendation.
