Brad Pitt’s Thoughtful Comments on Freedom and Marijuana

Brad Pitt was on Bill Maher’s show and discusses an array of topics.

He mentions three key issues:

1. No religion.
2. Legalization and taxation of pot.
3. Gay marriage should be legal.

He grew up in a religious family and community, but doesn’t like their imposing viewpoints. No one should tell other people how to live their lives.

The same freedom that allows you to practice religion is the same freedom you’re stepping on. His great counterpoint is if there were a nation of gay-married people telling religious people they can’t practice here, Brad would stand up for them, too. Excellent point!
